Integration credentials

Understand the public connection key and secret ingest token owned by each Integration.

Connection key

Route observations to one Integration without granting access.

The Connection key is a public identifier for one Integration in one workspace environment. It routes observations but cannot authenticate a write, read workspace data, or perform management actions.

Secret ingest token

Authenticate backend observation writes.

The secret ingest token is a backend-only bearer credential for observation writes. It is displayed once, stored hashed by Seamward, and should be held in the backend secret store. Rotating it invalidates the previous token immediately.
