This policy explains the cookies and browser storage Seamward uses, why they are needed, and how you can control them.
How Seamward uses storage
Essential storage keeps accounts secure. Google Analytics storage measures visits across Seamward pages. PostHog product analytics and session replay storage is used only after a signed-in user allows it.
The rules described here also cover similar browser technologies, including local storage.

PostHog product analytics configuration
PostHog is disabled until a signed-in user chooses Allow analytics. When enabled, Seamward uses opaque internal user and workspace identifiers and privacy-masked session replay. Ordinary interface text is recorded so sessions remain useful. Query strings, inputs, code, secrets, marked sensitive text, request and response bodies, network headers, console logs, canvas content, and cross-origin iframe content are not recorded.
You can allow or decline this optional processing when prompted and change the choice later under Account security.
Google Analytics configuration
Seamward loads the Google tag directly and sends page-view events across public and authenticated pages. We disable advertising personalization signals and Google signals.

Browser controls
You can restrict or remove cookies through your browser settings. Blocking Google Analytics requests or clearing its cookies may limit measurement but does not prevent access to public pages.
Declining PostHog product analytics, withdrawing consent under Account security, or clearing PostHog local storage stops optional product session recording. These controls do not prevent use of the product.
Blocking essential account cookies may prevent sign-in or other secure product functions from working.
